先月、プロスポーツ史上最高額となる10年で総額7億ドル、日本円で1015億円の超大型契約を結んだ大谷翔平選手（29）。

　大谷選手に今年から10年間で支払われる金額は総額のわずか3％のおよそ29億円。残り97％にあたるおよそ986億円が契約終了後の2034年から分割で支払われます。


　しかし、アメリカの「ロサンゼルス・タイムズ」によりますと、この後払い契約にカリフォルニア州の会計監査官が"待った"を掛けたということです。

　契約が満了した10年後に大谷選手が日本に帰国するなどカリフォルニア州から引っ越した場合、後払い分の所得税が州に入らないことを問題視しているのです。

　推定142億円分の税収が失われる可能性があるといいます。

　会計監査官は議会に対し、不均衡の是正のために断固とした対策を取るよう求めています。
